Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
