Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
