Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
