Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth and gains will not exempt him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
