Thorns (Al-Masad)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him). 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5
