Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
