Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
