Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
