Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
