۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
