Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
