Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
