The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 Those who in their prayer are lowly. 2 Who shun all frivolities, 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And those who are watchful of their acts of prayer. 9 Those are the inheritors 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 We created man from the finest extract of clay, 12 Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat. 20 And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
