1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
