The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
