The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 Created man, 3 and has taught him articulate speech. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 That ye exceed not the measure, 8 but weigh things equitably and skimp not in the balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 Husked grain and scented herb. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 23 And His are the lofty ships that sail like [floating] mountains through the seas. 24 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 25
