But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
