To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 We have not taught him any poetry nor would it be fitting for him. This is merely a Reminder and a clear Quran 69 to the end that it may warn everyone who is alive [of heart,] and that the word [of God] may bear witness against all who deny the truth. 70 Did they not see that We have created animals for them from Our handiwork, so they are their owners? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 Let not their words grieve you. Surely We know all things about them, what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Has not man regarded how that We created him of a sperm-drop? Then lo, he is a manifest adversary. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 He has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 So all glory to Him who holds all power over everything, to whom you will go back in the end. 83
