O Believers, seek help with fortitude and Salat, for Allah is with those who show fortitude. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in God's cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. 154 Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 155 Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":- 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 But from those who repent and mend their ways and make known the truth, I will certainly accept their repentance: I am the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
