We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
