The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am for you an honest Messenger. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 I ask of you no recompense for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 weigh with an even balance 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 Thou art but a mortal like us, and lo! we deem thee of the liars. 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191
