Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
