And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
