The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
