Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 2 There are signs in the heavens and the earth for those who believe: 3 and in your creation, and in the crawling things that He has scattered far and near, there are signs for a nation whose belief is certain, 4 In the alternation of the night and the day, the sustenance which God has sent down from the sky to revive the barren earth, and in the changing of the direction of the winds there is evidence of the truth for the people of understanding. 5 These are Allah's Signs that We rehearse to you in Truth. In what kind of discourse after Allah and His Signs will they, then, believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar! 7 He hears the verses of Allah recited to him and then, as though he never heard them, persists in insolence. Give to him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
