۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
