Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
