I swear by that which ye see. 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
