We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
