And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left him for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. - 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
