The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
