The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
