We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
