Al-A 'araaf 23 of 24
And those who deny Our revelations - step by step We lead them on from whence they know not. 182 And I will give them respite; indeed My secret plan is extremely solid. 183 Do they not reflect that their companion has not unsoundness in mind; he is only a plain warner. 184 Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe? 185 No one can guide those whom God has caused to go astray and has left to continue blindly in their rebellion. 186 They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know. 187 Tell them: "I am not master of my own gain or loss but as God may please. If I had the knowledge of the Unknown I would have enjoyed abundance of the good, and no evil would have touched me. I am only a bearer of warnings and bringer of happy news for those who believe." 188
