The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
