Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
