The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 covered down upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
