The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 when they were seated over it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
