And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
