Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
