Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.
