Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Generous and recording, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
