Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
