And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct [i.e. guide you to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism with which Musa (Moses) has been sent]. 38 O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle; 39 "Whosoever does an evil deed, will not be requited except the like thereof, and whosoever does a righteous deed, whether male or female and is a true believer (in the Oneness of Allah), such will enter Paradise, where they will be provided therein (with all things in abundance) without limit. 40 ۞ And, O my people! how is it that I call you to salvation and you call me to the fire? 41 You call on me that I should disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I call you to the Mighty, the most Forgiving; 42 There is no doubt that what you call me to has neither a call in this world, nor in the Everlasting Life. To Allah we shall return, and the excessive sinners are the inhabitants of the Fire. 43 Soon you will remember what I say to you! I shall entrust my affair to God, for God is observant of all [His] servants." 44 Allah saved him from the evils that they devised, and an evil punishment encompassed Pharaoh's people. 45 the Fire, to which they shall be exposed morning and evening; and on the day when the Hour is come: 'Admit the folk of Pharaoh into the most terrible chastisement!' 46 When they dispute with one another in the Fire, the weak will say to those who deemed themselves mighty, "We were your followers; will you then relieve us of some of the Fire?" 47 But those who had been arrogant will say, "We are all in this together. God has judged between His servants." 48 Those in the Fire will say to the warders of Hell: "Ask your Lord to reduce the punishment by a day for us." 49 They will say: "Did there not come to you, your Messengers with (clear) evidences and signs? They will say: "Yes." They will reply: "Then call (as you like)! And the invocation of the disbelievers is nothing but in error!" 50
