Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
