We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
