Al-nahl 12 of 16
The day We shall call a witness from every people, the unbelievers will not be allowed to make excuses. 84 And when the unjust will see the punishment, from that time on it will not be lightened for them, nor will they get respite. 85 And when those who ascribed partners to Allah behold those partners of theirs, they will say: Our Lord! these are our partners unto whom we used to cry instead of Thee. But they will fling to them the saying: Lo! ye verily are liars! 86 On that Day they shall offer to submit to Allah, and what they forged will forsake them. 87 The disbelievers who had created obstacles in the way leading to God will face manifold torments as a result of their evil deeds. 88 And (bethink you of) the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto thee as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 89
