When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
