Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 54 who used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in his Sustainer's sight. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 These are they on whom Allah bestowed favors, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the communications of the Beneficent Allah were recited to them, they fell down making obeisance and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 Save him who shall repent and believe and do right. Such will enter the Garden, and they will not be wronged in aught - 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
