And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
