Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
